Welcome!
Our hope is that we will be an effective resource in helping you move toward your goals for improved relational health. Our clinicians have extensive education, training, and experience in the use of treatment methods that have been seen to be both clinically effective and supported by research.
Each clinician is supported in the pursuit of individual areas of special interest and intensive professional development. During their practice at Santa Cruz Relational Health Associates, clinicians are encouraged to complete foundational training programs in the Gottman Institute approach to couples therapy, Love & Logic® parenting strategies, treatment of trauma with EMDR, and brain-based assessment and treatment planning through the Amen Clinic. This design allows us to address a wide spectrum of mental health issues affecting relationships with family, friends, and others in the community, using an approach that is strategically formulated to maximize quality of outcomes.
The structure and purposes of our agency are founded in Judeo-Christian
ethics. Through a focus on social justice and regard for the intrinsic worth of each human being, we seek to embody the scripture Hosea 14:3b: "For in Thee the orphan finds mercy." We, therefore, aim to make high quality services available for those in need and welcome clients from all faith perspectives and walks of life. Through our structure as a nonprofit corporation, we are able to adjust our rates to make professional support accessible to clients who might otherwise not be able to afford it. In addition, our offices are fully accessible to individuals with physical disabilities.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you have about how we might be able to team with you to address your specific therapeutic needs.
